Overview

Section 257 of the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act stipulated the development of a plan to support strengthening Ukrainian energy security. While the sanctions act developed a framework for short-term U.S.-Ukraine collaboration, there are still questions about how collaboration between both the U.S. and Ukrainian energy sectors will develop in the future. Is there a path forward for greater cooperation in the energy sector and if so, what might it look like?
