Full Biography

Alexandra is International Government Affairs Director for Chevron based in Washington, DC, a position she was appointed to in January, 2014. She is responsible for developing and managing engagement of Washington stakeholders to the western hemisphere, and overlooking all government affairs related issues for those regions.

Prior to taking on her current role, Alexandra was on a two-year international assignment in Bogota, Colombia, leading the policy, government and public affairs (PGPA) team for Chevron’s Upstream and Downstream operations in Latin America. Since joining Chevron in June, 2004, Alexandra has held several positions of increasing responsibility. These include marketing management, advertising and promotions, global brand management, regional management of policy, government and public affairs for US East & Latin America, Downstream and PGPA Manager for Latin America Upstream and Downstream Operations based in Colombia. Her years of experience in the petroleum industry include project management, business development, marketing, retail and commercial sales, market research, integrated communications, product & packaging, public & community affairs and change management initiatives.

Alexandra graduated from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota, Colombia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and soon after started working in the oil industry and service related companies including Hughes Tool Company and ExxonMobil. Later, she earned her degree of Executive Master in Business Administration from George Mason University in Virginia. Alexandra is member and vice-chair of the Pan American Development Foundation Board of Trustees, member of the Inter-American Dialogue Oil & Gas Committee and member of the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Corporate Council and the Canada Insititute.
