Full Biography

A Washington DC native currently based in Miami, she is a second-year master' student studying Geopolitics and Strategic Studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). She completed her undergraduate studies at Rice University in 2019, receiving a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish and Portuguese, and a minor in Statistics. She has had the opportunity to live in different countries, including Italy, India, Portugal, and Spain, all of which have provided her unforgettable cultural and language-learning experiences. She has completed research on refugee migration and transnational terrorism, the effects of the Resource Curse in developing countries, particularly Guyana and Venezuela, and the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Sinaloa Cartel operations.
