Chinelo Anohu

Ms. Chinelo Anohu leads the Africa Investment Forum (AIF), the preeminent investment platform in Africa, championed by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and its founding partners. AIF is mandated to enhance deal quality, raise capital, and accelerate financial closures of impactful transactions in Africa. Before joining the AfDB, Chinelo served as Director-General of Nigeria’s National Pension Commission and played a pivotal role in reforming its pension system and mobilizing domestic resources by introducing the Contributory Pension Scheme. Chinelo is also a member of the London Stock Exchange Africa Advisory Group and the International Advisory Board for the University of Edinburgh Business School.
