Cristina Martinez

Cristina Martinez holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM Campus Guadalajara, Mexico) and is pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy.

Prior to coming to DC, Cristina worked at the Institute for Mexicans Abroad (IME) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, developing initiatives and partnerships in the areas of gender and youth empowerment.

Cristina is passionate about the role of technological tools in promoting citizen engagement, civic innovations through public-private partnerships and social entrepreneurship. Upon her return to Mexico she aims to become a policy innovator in these areas.
