Full Biography

Nina Gordon is a Staff Intern at the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. She is currently completing her B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Nina has lived abroad in Chile, Israel, and Mexico. Before coming to the Mexico Institute, Nina was the Fund Development & Community Outreach Coordinator at Girls Inc. DC. She has conducted academic research on the Genocide of Mayan Women in Guatemala, and; the Struggles Faced by Nonprofits Empowering Girls, a case study analysis of Girls Inc. DC and Starfish in Guatemala. Nina is passionate about education, human rights, and economic and community development. In her free time, Nina loves climbing mountains.
