Nouran El Said

Nouran El Said is passionate and experienced in the AgriTech industry, building startups, and raising funds. She is a strong believer in the magic of collaboration and its ability to grow business and achieve growth.
Nouran is the Co-Founder and Business Development Director of Plug'n'Grow, an agri-tech startup that provides precision agriculture solutions based on hydroponics and aquaponics. She is also the Co-Founder of Zon Gardens, an enterprise established to promote the collaboration between businesses and academia in the field of green technologies, serving the Water, Energy, and Food sectors in the Euro-Mediterranean region.  Formerly, Nouran led the Business Development division of agrimatic farms, Egypt's first and one of the largest aquaponic farms in the MEA region, with a production capacity of 4,000,000 pieces of lettuce annually.
As an undergraduate at the AUC, Nouran studied Political Science and Psychology with the dream of improving livelihoods through human rights policies and applications. As a professional, Nouran opted to capitalize on her education, experience, and potential through building fast growing "start-ups" that offer tailored solutions for pressing challenges, such as Food and Water Security, to underserved segments, such as the developing countries of Africa.
