Full Biography

Taylor Drew Holshouser is a researcher with the Wilson Center's Polar Institute, where he studies the socioeconomic and geopolitical implications of a rapidly warming Arctic and supports the development of the Institute's Arctic Infrastructure Inventory. He received a B.A. in Humanities from Yale University in 2018 for his senior essay about Knud Rasmussen's Fifth Thule Expedition (1921-1924) and the history of colonization and economic development in the American Arctic. As a lifelong Alaskan, he enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and packrafting."
