Full Biography

William R. Schwartz was a fall Staff Assistant Intern for the Global Europe Program at The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. His main areas of interest include European integration, EU law, climate governance, transatlantic relations, and populist movements.

He is a junior at Georgetown University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in International Politics with a concentration in International Law, Institutions, and Ethics. He is also pursuing minors in French and German.

Originally from Flagstaff, Arizona, William spent his freshman year living in the Netherlands, where he served as a Research Assistant for law professor Peter van den Berg at the University of Groningen. He also completed advanced German coursework at the University of Trier during the summer of 2022.

He has a working knowledge of French, German, and Dutch.
