    Full Biography

    Zahra Ouardi is one of the first founders and head of L'Union de l'Action Féminine (UAF), a non-profit in Morocco focused on fighting for women’s mobilization and for an end to discrimination and marginalization. She has represented UAF in international conferences on human rights in Geneva and the sessions of the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations in New York to advocate for the rights of women in Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Spain, Holland and France. She has held positions as the Head of Educational Affairs in the delegation of the Ministry of National Education of Morocco and has served as a member of the National Council for Human Rights Regional Committee in Casablanca. She has a degree in Arabic literature with a graduate degree in Moroccan literature.
