In this latest Wilson Memo, "The Coup in Burma: One Year Later," Asia Program experts Ye Myo Hein and Lucas Myers walk us through developments since February 1, 2021, including the actions the U.S. has taken to reaffirm its support for a return to democracy in Myanmar. The memo also provides a variety of policy actions that Congress and the Administration have available to apply further pressure on the regime and promote democracy.
