Infographic | Marriage Equality in Mexico - Developments in 2020 and 2021

The 2010s were a monumental decade for marriage equality in Mexico. Mexico City became the first entity in the country to legalize same-sex marriage in 2010. In the following 10 years, many states have followed suit. In 2020 and 2021, the pace of progress has been particularly fast. To provide an outlook on the current state of marriage equality in Mexico, the Mexico Institute presents the following infographic on the legalization of same-sex marriage throughout the country.
