Released in February 2021, the Roadmap for a Renewed Canada-U.S. Partnership is the foundational guide for Canada-U.S. relations under the administrations of President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Roadmap's six pillars outline shared goals and aspirations for the two countries as bilateral partners and allies on the global stage. Ahead of the first visit to Canada of the Biden presidency, Canada Institute interns Emma Brown and Sarah Doshi provide an overview of the Roadmap and its key action items.
