Prime Minister of Canada, the Right Honorable Paul Martin, Delivers Significant Policy Address

On the occasion of his visit to Washington, D.C., the Prime Minister of Canada, the Right Honorable Paul Martin, delivered a significant foreign policy address titled "Canada and the World: Building on Our Values." The full speech is available here.

Today at noon, Wilson Center President and Director Lee H. Hamilton hosted a significant policy address by the Prime Minister of Canada, the Right Honorable Paul Martin.

"Today, the Wilson Center was pleased to co-host Prime Minister Paul Martin at a significant event that we have been putting together for over a year. We were particularly pleased that the Prime Minister's substantive and wide-ranging remarks focused upon international issues that are at the core of the Center's mission, and touched upon vital aspects of the U.S.-Canadian relationship."

The event was co-hosted with the Center for Global Development. More than 500 people were in attendance at the event which took place in the Amphitheatre of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.
