Full Biography
Gabrielle Gonzalez is a Research Intern for the Mexico Institute at the Wilson Center. She graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies, along with minors in Economics, Humanitarian Affairs, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Gabrielle is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in International Development at American University SIS. She is especially interested in advancing women’s rights and improving accountability and transparency mechanisms to improve rule of law, especially in the Western Hemisphere. Prior to interning at the Mexico Institute, Gabrielle worked as a program associate at Legacy International for the US Department of State’s TechGirls program.
