Full Biography

Hyginus Banko Okibe holds a Ph.D. Degree in Political Science. He is a Senior Lecturer at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Department of Political Science and at the Institute for Peace, Conflict and Development Studies of the university. He has research interests in social sciences subjects, governance, and development. Currently, he is the Director of Work Ethics at the University, the Coordinator of Postgraduate Program in the Department of Political Science, and the Secretary of Nigerian Political Science Association, Southeast Zone in Nigeria. He is also a guest speaker on political issues on radio and TV programs. He is happily married with lovely children. His hobbies include reading, writing, speaking, and traveling. He is currently a Southern Voices Network for Peacebuilding (SVNP) Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, where he is doing in-residence research, which is on grant and scholarship.
