Javed Akbar

JAVED AKBAR is chief executive of Javed Akbar Associates (Private) Limited, a consulting company specializing in energy analysis and forecasting. A chemical engineer by training, he has over 40 years of experience in the fertilizer, energy, and chemical businesses, and he has held positions with Exxon and Engro. Prior to retiring in 2006, he was chief executive of Engro Vopak Terminal Limited, a joint venture between Engro and Royal Vopak of Holland.
