Expert Bio

Lena Björkholm is a Staff Assistant intern with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars within the Global Europe Program. Her research interests lie in the areas of international law and EU law. Prior to joining the Wilson Center, Lena has conducted an exchange at the University of Bern as well as internships at the Finnish Prime Minister’s Office and at a Finnish Law firm.

Lena holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Helsinki and is currently finalizing her master’s degree in law at the University of Helsinki. Other than English, she also speaks Swedish and Finnish, as well as some German.
