Miguel Angel Toro is graduate research assistant at the Wilson Center's Mexico Institute. He is a graduate student at the University of Chicago Master's in Public Policy program. Prior to joining the Mexico Institute he was the research coordinator for the economic development team of CIDAC, a think tank in Mexico City. He has also contributed to different energy related projects at the Ministry of Energy in Mexico and President Peña Nieto's transition team. He holds a double Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).
