Full Biography

Miranda Alamilla is the research intern for the former Ambassador of Mexico, Earl Anthony Wayne at the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. She is currently completing her final year of graduate studies at American University’s School of International Service as a US Foreign Policy and National Security major, with a concentration in Latin American Affairs. Miranda’s areas of focus include crime and corruption in Latin America, bilateral security policies between Latin American countries and the US, and narcotrafficking across borders. In her free time, Miranda enjoys doing strength and conditioning training, watching old movies, and cooking new recipes.
