The Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives invite applications for the next round of Visegrad Scholarships. The deadline to apply is July 25, 2024. 

Awardees of a Visegrad Scholarship will have the opportunity to conduct research at the Open Society Archives in Budapest, Hungary, including the archival collection and research papers of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, which constitute the most comprehensive Cold War and post-Cold War archive about the problems of Communism and its aftermath in the early years of post-socialist and post-communist transition.

Awardees will receive a grant of 3,000 Euros to support travel to and from Budapest, a modest subsistence, and accommodation for a research period of eight weeks.
