The Kennan Institute expresses deep condolences to the families of the victims of the mass shooting at Perm State University, which took place on Monday, September 20th and left six people dead and many more wounded. The Kennan Institute counts several scholars from Perm’s universities among alumni of its research fellowship programs. We would like to extend our words of support to them and others in Perm’s academic community affected by this weekend’s tragic events.
