New Podcast: CWIHP Advisory Board Member John Lewis Gaddis lectures on the Origins of the Cold War

CWIHP is pleased to announce the recent release of a new audio podcast featuring CWIHP advisory board member and Robert A. Lovett Professor of History at Yale University John Lewis Gaddis.

Gaddis' lecture on the origins of the Cold War was delivered at the Wilson Center during a week-long summer institute on the Cold War sponsored by the Gilder-Lehrman Institute for American History.

The origins of the Cold War go far deeper than post-World War II tensions between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, Gaddis argues, and can even be traced back to events in the mid-nineteenth century.

Gaddis' audio podcast is available for download from the Gilder Lehrman Institute website.
