The Kennan Institute invites you to attend two roundtables at this year's American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies convention featuring representatives of the CASE program.
The Kennan Institute invites you to attend two roundtables at this year's AAASS convention in Toronto. The roundtables, entitled "Innovation in the Social Sciences and Humanities at Regional Russian Universities," will feature representatives from the nine Russian Centers for Advanced Study and Education (CASEs) which have been established as a result of Carnegie Corporation of New York's Higher Education in the former Soviet Union initiative.
The first session, to be chaired by Andrei Kortunov, the President of ISE Center (Information. Scholarship. Education.), will be held from 8:00-9:45 am on Sunday, November 23 in the Nova Scotia Room at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. The second session will take place from 10:00-11:45 am in the Newfoundland Room. This session will be chaired by Blair Ruble, Director of the Kennan Institute.
