Film Screening: "A Struggle for Home: The Crimean Tatars"
This documentary film tells the rich and often tragic story of the Crimean Tatars. It features interviews with Crimean residents, historians, survivors of the 1944 deportation, Russian nationalists, and Tatar activists. The film won Best International Film at the 2016 D.C.
