Sam Donaldson, a 42-year ABC News veteran, served as chief White House correspondent for ABC News covering Presidents Carter, Reagan, and Clinton. He is an institution in Washington journalism and continues his observations on the workings of Washington on ABC.

With years of reporting on several administrations to his credit, Donaldson talked about President Obama's push to bring about major changes and reforms to the Washington scene, the formidable obstacles he faces, and the challenges of getting attention in the U.S. capital today.
