What is the role of philanthropy in fostering economic development in Latino communities on both sides of the border? Why is only 5% of US giving targeting Latin America, and only 2% U.S. Latino communities? What policies and mechanisms could create lasting, system-wide change for Latino communities?  The Wilson Center, Hispanics in Philanthropy, the Washington Office on Latin America, and the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility hosted a panel discussion to address these questions.
