The Unbreakable Alliance: Ensuring Indo-Pacific Stability in the 21st Century

Young Australian and American policy analysts will present their working papers on the U.S.-Australian Alliance and how it can and should operationalize deterrence in the Indo-Pacific.  Papers will address the following questions: “How do the policy communities in Canberra and Washington view China’s growing influence in the Indo-Pacific?  Where do these views align and diverge?  What is the main threat that China poses to regional stability/security?  How has the alliance collaborated to improve deterrence?  What areas of the alliance need to be re-examined or strengthened to calibrate to China’s Growing capabilities?”

Presentations to be followed by audience Q&A.
