The Cold War International History Project (CWIHP) hosts interns and research assistants during the spring, summer, and fall semesters. Interns work on-site at the Wilson Center and support CWIHP's publication and digitization efforts. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or masters degree program, have graduated within the past year, or have been accepted to an advanced degree program in history, political science, library science, or related field within the next year.

Research Assitant

The Cold War International History Project accepts internship applications throughout the year. The summer semester deadline in 15 March, the fall semester deadline is 15 July, and the spring semester deadline is 15 November.

Research Intern (Chinese Language Specialist)

The Cold War International History Project seeks a research assistant with strong Chinese language skills required for projects on foreign relations of China since 1945. Applications due March 31st.

Research Intern (Hebrew Langauge Specialist)

The Nuclear Proliferation International History Project seeks a research intern with strong Hebrew language skills to support a project on the history of the Israeli nuclear program.Applications due March 31st.

Research Intern (Italian Language Specialist)

The Cold War International History Project seeks a research assistant with strong Italian language skills for projects on NATO nuclear history and Sino-European relations. Applications due March 31st.
