History of Russian Political Opposition

Project Summary

Asks how Russia changed the general stereotype of its political conduct, turning itself into a quasi-Asiatic autocracy. Was this transformation fatal, or did it realize only one of the possible potentialities to be found in the formatino of any nation’s political culture? Examines the stability of the Russian autocratic structure and the dramatic shifts of political regimes.
