Alexander Plyushchev

Alexander Plyushchev is a Russian journalist currently based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

For 27 years he worked at the largest independent Russian radio station Ekho Moskvy, going from a news presenter to a host of his own shows. Beyond his work for the radio, Alexander was a columnist at Deutsche Welle and Russian business newspaper Vedomosti.

Since the radio station was shut down after the start of the war in Ukraine, Aleksandr has launched his own breakfast show on his YouTube channel. Every day, he and his colleagues talk to opinion leaders and experts from around the world about war and politics.
