Relations Between the Communist International and the American Communist Party

Project Summary

An investigation into the methods employed by Moscow to coordinate policies between Comintern (The Communist International) and CPUSA, and the methods used to ensure compliance by the communists parties. This grant probed the depth of materials that contain information that suggestion a revision of present day assumptions about the control of the CPUSA and/or amplification of the role of the CPUSA in control of other communist parties, particularly in Latin American parties.
