Bettina Ovgaard is Chief of J9 Civil-Military Cooperation and Science Liaison Officer at the Danish Joint Arctic Command. Her current job with the Danish Defense focuses on cooperation and support to researchers operating in Greenland, as well as generating an overview of the national and international scientific research conducted in the Arctic. She holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and is a co-developer of the research portal ISAAFFIK - The Arctic Gateway. Besides having traveled to most corners of Greenland, she has worked six years at Thule Air Base. She presently lives in Nuuk.
