    Full Biography

    David Conover is senior vice president at Dutko Grayling, a global communications group specializing in government relations, public relations, investor relations and events management. He has more than 20-years experience in public policy, having served in both the executive and legislative branches as well as in the private sector.  From 1990 to 1999, he served with CH2M-Hill practicing environmental law.  He was staff director and chief counsel to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee from 1999 to 2003.  He served as acting assistant secretary and principal deputy assistant secretary for policy and international affairs at the Department of Energy, as well as director of the U.S. Climate Change Technology program from 2003 to 2006.  Prior to joining Dutko Grayling this month he was senior vice president at the Bipartisan Policy Center.  He earned a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
