Project Summary

A demographic study taking into account the relationship between population growth and social welfare in Uzbekistan. Kuzibaeva argues that demography is of use in the period of transition to assess the trajectory of the democratizing state under free-market conditions. This study examined the variations between Western and Soviet methodologies.
