Project Summary

An ethnographic investigation into the symbolic uses of clothing within cultures, as material culture is used to express world perception and axiological character. This study differentiates among various indigeous cultures. This information is part of a larger project that studies the nexus of Old World cultural traditions, and discuss their encounter with Westernization.
