Expert Bio

James Andrews is a Seattle-based producer and director who grew up in eastern Washington. After getting a degree in Environmental Journalism from Western Washington University, he worked as a science writer for the National Park Service, a news reporter on the food and agriculture beat, and then a freelancer traveling Asia on a shoestring. With Silver Fir Media, he has spent years making films at the intersection of science, environment, and history.

Today, James quarantines with his girlfriend, spends too much time shooing squirrels away from his birdfeeders, and works on a variety of nonprofit, government, and commercial film projects.
