Full Biography
Karthick Ramakrishnan is Professor of Political Science and Associate Dean of the School of Public Policy at the University of California, Riverside. He directs the National Asian American Survey (http://naasurvey.com) and AAPI Data (http://aapidata.com), and has written numerous books and articles on civic participation and immigration policy in the United States. His most recent publications can be found on his web site: http://karthick.com, and in future work, he is exploring immigrant political incorporation in different countries. Ramakrishnan is founding editor of the Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics (JREP) and is an appointee to the California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs. He earned his BA at Brown University and his PhD at Princeton University.
