Full Biography

Marco Perasso is an intern at the Wilson Center’s Argentina Project for the fall semester. He is a senior at American University studying Communication, Law, Economics and Government, primarily focusing on politics and economics. He has developed a passion for South American politics and economics after spending a semester at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Marco’s international background and time abroad has allowed him to become fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. Marco has previously interned at political consulting firms and a non-profit working on economic issues. His research interests include comparative economics in the Southern Cone, but also ideological shifts and political thought throughout Latin America. Marco hopes to live in Argentina after graduate school.
