Full Biography

The Honorable Mariano Borinsky is Chairman of Argentina’s Commission on the Reform of the Criminal Code. He serves as a judge at the Federal Court of Appeals in Argentina and an Adjunct Professor at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Previously, he was the President of the Federal Court of Appeals. Borinsky has participated in numerous international programs about financial crime, most notably in Washington, D.C. and Cambridge. Most recently, he has instructed university classes at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella on the prevention of global money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and criminal tax law. He has been featured by El Clarín, Infobae and La Nación, on topics ranging from criminal law reform to financial crime and money laundering. Borinsky holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Law from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
