Mia Poynor graduated from the University of Southern California, studying International Health and Human Security and Geospatial Intelligence. Mia lived in Florianópolis, Brazil for 7.5 months, fulfilling the Boren Scholarship and studying Portuguese intensively. Her interests are at the intersection of Latin America, GIS, and human security.
