Full Biography
Mikhail Maglov, former activist of “Solidarnost” and close associate of the assassinated opposition leader Boris Nemtsov and promising politician Ilya Yashin, had to flee Russia after the Bolotnaya square protests surrounding the 2012 presidential elections and the subsequent criminal prosecution against him. Mikhail received political asylum in Lithuania where he continues working on pro-democracy projects and anti-corruption initiatives targeting officials in Russia.
