Full Biography
Piper DeLo is a Staff Intern at the Kennan Institute. She is a student at American University, where she studies Russian Language and Culture. Prior to American University, she studied at the Altai State Pedagogical University in Barnaul, Siberia, and then lived in Moscow, where she was a sanctions analyst intern. Following her time in Russia, she co-authored and edited several articles focusing on the political economy of Russia with professors from Harvard University and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Previous to Pipers academic endeavors, her first career was as a Russian trained United States Figure Skater.
