Project Summary

Examines the way that Russia is seen through the foreigner in order to determine the development of bilateral relations, public opinion and mentality. Reviews diaries, travel notes, letters to friends and relatives in order to probe the phenomena and events described therein. Reveals opinions of people of various descents and social/professional status.
