DECEMBER 2007 – SEPA and the MOH Collaborate on China's First NEHAP
250 people from the Health, Environment and other sectors attended the launch Forum of the Chinese National Environmental Health Action Plan (NEHAP), a collaboration between the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), on the 21st and 22nd of November 2007 in Beijing. A keynote address on behalf of the Director of the Department for Public Health and the Environment focused on drinking-water and sanitation aspects, and on health impact assessment. The Chinese authorities will intensify their already on-going collaboration with WHO on Water Safety Plans.
