During a Q&A session at the Arctic Circle Korea Forum, former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Oceans and Fisheries of the U.S. State Department and Chair of the Senior Arctic Officials Ambassador David Balton floated the idea of establishing an international marine science organization for the Central Arctic Ocean.
