En otro momento, el apoyo y el capital político del que actualmente goza el Gobierno federal se habrá disipado, advirtió.

Cynthia Arnson, directora del Programa Latinoamericano del Woodrow Wilson Center, comentó que las esperanzas del Pacto por México pronto desaparecieron para dar lugar a una reforma por demás modesta.

"Parecía que había apoyo político, pero en la realidad no hubo nada", afirmó.

Hacia adelante, Arnson ve un panorama más complicado y todo apunta a que la economía seguirá dependiendo del petróleo.
