"Faces of the Future"
Three years ago, the Ford Foundation began a massive, 300 million dollar scholarship program aimed at promising students from developing countries. The project provided post-graduate support for students who plan to return to their countries and contribute to national development. These students represent populations that have historically been excluded from educational opportunity. These students – from Uganda, Nigeria, Senegal, India and Peru – describe their experience.
