Overview

Please join the Wilson Center’s Canada Institute as we host John Manley of the Business Council of Canada (formerly the Canadian Council of Chief Executives) and John Engler of the Business Roundtable. Mr. Manley and Governor Engler lead two of the most powerful business organizations in Canada and the United States and together have been key proponents for even stronger bilateral economic ties between our two countries.

The conversation between Manley and Engler will examine the economic issues that confront our two countries in 2016 and beyond, including the new Trudeau government and the outgoing Obama Administration and a new U.S. President next year. The discussion will touch on existing bilateral issues as well as proactive initiatives to expand and enhance North American competitiveness, at home and in the world.
