Director, Kennan Institute

The Director of the Kennan Institute will conduct ongoing research, writing, media commentary and outreach to key policy audiences on contemporary and historical developments; formulate ongoing strategic planning that positions the Kennan Institute as a leading center for knowledge and policy ideas; helps build knowledge and develop new policy ideas on U. S. relations with the region; briefs the U.S. Congress and key policymaking communities; coordinates activities with the Vice President for Communications and Media Relations to ensure optimal media outreach and web-based products; and fundraises and ensures optimal and responsible management of resources to maintain and expand the Kennan Institute's work.  Duties, requirements, application procedures and the full text vacancy announcement can be found at the above link.
